getting back into photography

6 years ago I studied GCSE and AS level photography. I was really proud of my results (GCSE B and AS level A!) and loved studying it, but left 1 yr through my A levels (hence only the AS grade) due to problems with one of my teachers and no-one seemed to take me seriously!
Now i'm kicking myself for giving in so easily.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to get back into it? With only half an A level would I need to resit exams etc? especially as I used non-digital cameras!
