I just saw this on the BBC live news feed and it made me laugh out loud as a desperate comment when nothing else much is happening

"Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg are now all in the House of Commons. We're not sure though who's talking to who, or even if anyone's talking to anyone. One thing we can say for almost certain - it's unlikely that Brown and Cameron are discussing an alliance."

Never mind the politics (we've had enough of that already), what funny journalism snippets have made you laugh? Although on the political theme, I think Jeremy Paxman asking Bill Cash if he would get into bed with Peter Mandelson was absolute class.

LOL - I love it.
I read in the Indy this weekend:

Nigel Farrage,
Interests: Light Aircraft

Intentional I think!

Spare Ed
when Celtic got beat by Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the cup several years ago: "Super Cally Go Ballistic, Celtic Are Atrocious."

when Dick Advocaat took over as Rangers manager : "Dick heads for Ibrox"
I did love the Liberal democrat spokesman's little joke with the press

When pressed for specifics by an absolutely rabid, drooling pack he said "Well without going into too much detail, which I know you wouldn't want me to do...."

Even the hacks had to laugh at themselves at that
