As you all know I am still looking for work, and am considering many things. I am now thinking of working on board cruise ships, but need to know the next stage forward. Is is best to find work through an agency, and if so what is its' website? If not then do I contact the cruise companies directly, and if so can you name some of them for me? Is there a list of cruise lines which I can all email, all in one go?

Thanks, in advance, for your ever helpful replies.

I'll get my daughter to answer your post as soon as she comes in. She spent 3 years working for P & O first on Oriana and then on Ventura. She joined Aurora in Hong Kong, being flown out there by P & O and came back half way round the world on her.
She does have Child Care qualifications and so worked in the Youth Crew.
She just applied direct to the company and had a wonderful 3 years. She's actually going back on for the summer to earn some serious dosh before starting Uni in September.
Yes, good for him redhelen, very worthwhile career the Coasguards. Shame about the current situation and all the cutbacks which will affect them.
Yes Craft has the description to a T. Just think Redcoats at sea! All cabin crew - filipinos, and all catering staff - Goan. ALL the crew, wherever they were from, were lovely - definitely people-skills in abundance.

Think it would make the news if the entire country of Wales tried to sneak up the west coast and into Scotland. :)
I'd go to Wales if it was empty...........
