...will give as much consideration to the local comprehensive as the private sector before deciding where to send the kids? Mr Gove apparently thinks so, saying he wants private and state schools to become indistinguishable.

If you refer to AOG's thread on a similar subject sandy, you will find my own opinion - that contrary to the persistent and growing evidence, Mr Gove is not an idiot, but he does have a vevsted interest in talking and behaving like one.
