Should I Tell My Boss About My *** Up, Or Wait And See If She Finds Out?

Its not really a *** up. I was just being lazy,but I'm gonna try in make this as short as I can. I work for a commercial cleaning company. We use bucket less mops, so you pour the solution into the mop, and press a button to squirt it on the floor then mop it. You're supposed to change the mop head after every use too. Well, I've been working there for 2 years, and at one of the sites, I only mop when the bathrooms look dirty, and I rarely change the mop head. 

So the guy who delivers supplies to all our sites told my boss that at a couple of our sites, we aren't using the moping solution, and that we are using the solution we are suppose to use to whip things down, he said we are using that on the floor. I was wondering what the hell he was taking about so I went to all the sites and verified that we ARE using the solution for the mops on the floor. My boss said that's good, and she just seemed to drop it. 

Well, at one of the sites, I've been very lazy. I only mop the bathrooms when it looks dirty, and I've been using the same mop head for a long time, so the delivery guy doesn't really need to deliver mop heads. So I'm rarely using any of the moping solution since I use so little, and I think that's what he was talking about. I was just gonna start doing it right, and mop everyday and change the mop heads, so the delivery guy is going to notice that I'm started to use the mopping solution, and that I'll be running out of mop heads, causing him to have to deliver more. Like i said, I was just gonna start doing things right, and not say anything to my boss, but im afraid the delivery guy will say something, and then ill have to tell her my *** up. That scenario has been stressing me out so much that I was just thinking of calling my boss, and confessing to her about what I've been doing (or not doing) just to get it over with and let her do what she wants to do. What do you think? Should I tell her, or wait and see what happens, because there is a chance that the delivery guy won't say anything, and I'll get away with it.

You should absolutely admit it and confess.  You are always keen to report your colleagues/friends/relatives/neighbours/strangers

So now you are the one doing something wrong. Do you think you should report yourself as you have always wanted to report someone else for perceived indiscretions. Do what you think best

Best to admit it in advance.You are in the wrong and it always helps to 'fess up' as I believe you would say.

^^^ Also apologise profusely and guarantee better  in the future --- and stick to it.

Maybe somebody will do you a favour and report you, to save you the bother of having to report yourself.

Maybe its a job you arent cut out for, you have to work on your laziness and attitude. Its as simple as that. Thats being said its fairly simple to clean things so again its motivation

commercial bathroom floors should be mopped several times a day, it is disgusting that you do not mop it all the time and not using a cleaning solution or changing the mop is repulsive.

On 11 February 2024 you wanted to training everyone on how to wash their hands after cleaning bathrooms even though you wear gloves because of germs.

On 2nd November 2023 you wanted to leave your job and report your company for not using cleaning products correctly.

On 1st November 2023 you wanted to confront your Aunt for not cleaning your household bathroom properly.

I think you need to tell your manager and offer your resignation.
