University Entry Requirements
3 Answers
Do you reckon that you could still get in to a top university if u studied 4 as's in your first year, and then dropped 2 and did 1 new one as well as keeping the other original 2 to do as A2, so u would end with 2 A2's and 3 AS's??? quite a wordy question there probably doesnt make much sense

Some universities are recruiters and have to work hard to fill their places - these are more likely to make offers based on points and so 3 ASs would be fine.
The 'top universities' are selectors, having more applicants than places and so can dictate their offers more precisely. They will probably prefer 3 A2s.
The book "Degree Course Offers" by Brian Heap gives loads of detailed information, and should be available at a college or town library.
