bursary funding for a hnc course in scotland

A few years back my son undertook a hnc and received funding for this although did not complete this. He has since started a new course of study and has been turned down for funding for this, this meaning that he will not receive tuition fees. Is there anything that I can do about this

are you able to appeal ? probably because he failed to complete his previous course this will be why it has been turned down. if you are able to appeal then give it a go.
