Revision
I've got exams coming up and cannot seem to get motivated to revise, does anybody know ways to get motivated and any revision tips??

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.the best thing i found (i'm the world's biggest procrasticator) was to create a timetable of revision. so each subject had it's own slot in the day. i never made any slot more than 1.5 hrs long as my concentration never lasted that long! i also scheduled in plenty of rest breaks for snacks and drinks.
i also colour coded a lot of my revision notes with highlighers, e.g. pink meant really important point to remember, yellow meant background info.
always make sure that the room you are studying in as plenty of natural light, a comfortable chair and big desk so you can spread you work out. and make sure it's tidy - it's amazing how appealing housework was when i had maths to revise for!

i was the world's worst at revising at school and college but muddled through and passed it all thankfully!
my theory on it was 'if i don't know it now i'm never gonna know it!!' guess if i had revised properly i would be totally different now if you know what i mean but i'm happy

I helped my son to revise by getting the cd roms for him and as well as his course notes and BBC bitesize website that seemed to do the trick; but my best advice to you is to make sure you take a break-have a coffee/snack/listen to some music or whatever, because too much revision makes you a bit brain dead and I don't think you can retain any of it.
