Hi, nannon!

I needed to retake my Double Science GCSE (I got a D, but I wasn't happy with it), so I was told to take Human Physiology and Health which was apparently just as good as Science if I wanted to go to uni. Hope this helps. x

ah - missed that one - thank you will move it over!

Thanks whiskeysheri - i need to retake it to do my PGCE - it does say an equivilent so will look into that - thanks!!!
The curriculum will depend from which awarding body your exam (curriculum) will be set. For example, The Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA) is the largest of the three exam boards, you also have the OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations) and Edexcel. So a curriculum will be set by the examining board which your institution has selected.

Do ignore the trolls.

If you have any trouble with any of the concepts drop by in the Science forum and we'll try to be a bit more sympathetic!
No worries. Who would you be doing the GCSE with? They should be able to tell you which examination boards curriculum you are working to, perhaps even give you a copy?
