I will be starting a Level 1 University Distance Learning course with UCLAN in September which will cost me 500, does anyone know whether I will be able to get a grant? I live on my own, 23, full time employment.

Cheers!

Nope, I tried to get a grant for my OU degree but didn't qualify because I as in full time employment and deemed to be able to afford it.

I ventually approached my employers and they have paid for it, maybe you could go down that route??
I am also a student doing distance learning but I don't work full-time so it will be different to what help I get.

You may want to contact your LEA to check if you are entitled to anything. Also you may want to check out the link below.
