I'm a little confused because, according to the Concise Oxford Dictionary, there's no such word as 'herpatology'. That leaves me wondering whether you want to study 'hepatology' (the study of the liver, gallbladder, biliary tree and pancreas) or 'herpetology' (the study of reptiles).
Either way, there's no specific university course dealing with your required area of study. (For hepatology, you need to study general medicine and then specialise in hepatology at a later stage. For herpetology, you need to study zoology, or a related subject.
