I am just in the process of applying to Uni through UCAS and I am not entirely sure of what to put down - I am currently doing an evening course at a local college and I went to see a Careers Adviser there who advised me I have all of the qualifications I need to get in and my work experience will help. The confusion lies with whether I state I am applying as an individual or through the college using their buzz word (the Careers Adviser mentioned that I do this as I am doing an evening course, but there may be a problem re them writing a ref because I have not been there for very long). So would it be better if I applied as an individual, but just advised I was doing an evening class?

Thank you loads in advance,xxx

Hi there,
I have just gone back to uni as a mature student (29) as of today. It seemed like it was going to be ages away and suddenly its here!
Anyway, I would be inclined to apply as an individual and then you still have the evening course to back you up re experience etc.
Best of luck
