good sites for kids
6 Answers
does anyone know any good online learning sites that i can use with my daughter. she is 5 and although very smart she sometimes lacks concentration and im tryint to find fun ways to make her remember things easily. she tries to do sums in her head instead of using her fingers which sometimes means she makes mistakes. dont get me wrong im glad she makes the odd mistake as it shows she is doing it herself and trying but its getting the concentration with fun learning so any good sites would be really appreciated. tia

Although she's only five, she might enjoy a lot of the activities on this site

These games are great, 'nice' ie not shoot-em-up, and will help develop concentration:
http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/ (personally I love Bubble Bee)
http://www.mathletics.co.uk/ is a good interactive learning tool that claims to be a form of live gaming - I'm not convinced that it isn't a Turing-test type program but what the hey, kids love it.
