Ahhhggg! Miserable night, flooded roads and damaged alloy.....

Just brought tyhe kids back from Judo in the pouring rain, roads are closed due to flooding so had to go a big detour and took a wrong turning, tried to swing round and in the dark and rain and huge puddles, misjudged the kerb and took a big scrape and bash on my wheel. Rain to continue all night so doubtful if I will get to work or if they will open school tomorrow as high tide is expected in the early hours. And to cap it all, my we boy dropped his brand new yellow belt which he just got awarded tonight in a big muddy puddle!

Couldn't agree more. Still, belt has been washed and is now in tumble drier as he wanted to take it into school to show his teacher tomorrow and I need it dry to sew the stripe on.
