Whereas huge amounts of daily life comprise activities that are beyond price and whose subsidised existence makes life worth it. Like deent transot, affordable housing, healthcare and education.
You can't have it both ways - either agree it's expensive but indispensible or hive it all off to India.
They'll care as much in Delhi about me and my street as they do in the town hall here at present.

A lot of those jobs aren't real anyway, created by Noo Labour for their core voters, a lot of those that need doing can be done cheaper offshore, good economics. The Public sector should be as small and cheap as possible. Remember, the public sector is paid out for by those that work in the private sector.

In England and Wales, Labour was the main beneficiary, but Scotland saw a decisive victory for the Scottish National Party.
