My husband has been of work sick and is unable to return to work. Do his employers have to pay him anything if they are unable to find him a different position in the company and terminate his employment?
Someone he worked with told him there would be some kind of pay off if they cannot find him a different job in the company that he is able to do with the condition is has, is this right?

We'd go through the capability processes and then if the person isn't fit for the job they are employed in, they'd leave on medical grounds. There wouldn't be any compensation.
