New Forest Photography Challenge!

I have to go to Southampton tomorrow for my highly uninspiring dull and tedious job but I thought I'd make the whole hideous ordeal a bit more palatable by taking a detour via the New Forest with my camera and a bit of extra photographic equipment.
So, what shall I take pictures of and in what circumstances? I have about two hours to do this and I shall be entering from the north east Totton/Ashurst/Lyndhurst).
Just to make this a little less egocentric, does anyone here have any photos of the NF they could share? They could be photos you took or just lovely inspiring photos linked from elsewhere :-)

Hi AP, beautiful pics on Google images. If the sun is shining tomorrow, you should get some lovely shots of trees with shadows, new forest ponies etc.

Try doing something different instead of the same old boring pictures such as - ponies in the mist, trees in the mist, a nuthatch on a tree in the mist, gorse in the mist, a thatched house in the mist, sunset shrouded in mist, wet pools on the Heath in mist, a straight road in the mist and a photo of the mist.

I love pictures of leaves and mushrooms/fungi with the sun shining on them ...

Deer abundant in the Rhinefield and Arboretum, have also seen badgers in broad daylight.
Rhinefield House - had a tour there when it was privately owned - the smoking room was fantastic
Trees - Giant Sequoia can be seen from quite a distance.
Knightwood Oak - possibly the oldest tree in the NF and still growing

A little far out for you - Fordingbridge

If I had Friday off, I'd do the whole thing - Rhinefield, Beaulieu, the witchy place (can't remember the name) but I only have a couple of hours till it gets dark. I suppose I could venture down to Fawley and get some pics of the fiery chimleys!

Fordingbridge is nice, but that means I'd have to go back via Salisbury - too far west.

Shame. Ashley Water, near F'bridge is lovely too - they tested the bouncing bomb there.
Burley has some highland cattle which roam freely :)
Magnificent herd of red poll cattle near Fritham, the straightest backs in the NF :)
The NF has a strong tie with WWII - many memorials and 2 dis-used airfields at Stoney Cross and Holmsley.
