It Is All Right For Some...

Bob Crow, the transport union leader, has been spotted living the high life on a cruise. The Daily Mail is, I think the word is, outraged. Now, had he been a QC he would be on as good or better money, but he wouldn't be condemned providing he did his best to get good results for those he represented. Is there a difference?

// Now back home at to his tax-payer funded London council house // Does that mean he lives rent free? Or does it mean it is a council house built by, er, the Council? And he pays rent?

Naomi...explain if you can, why Bob Crow shouldn't be able to go on holiday if he wishes ? He is a working class chap but are you saying that he should stick to Margate and leave the finer things in life to his betters ?
I know what you meant though. In my opinion, Britain might actually function a little better if dave went on a nice long cruise.

I cannot see the problem here, this has been going on for the last 50 years that I can remember. Tory, Labour, Union leader and head of any public service.....why not?
Met a female union leader some years ago on her way to Brighton Conference and she told me of the lavish entertainments.
I would do the same.

QCs don't claim to be champions of the working classes and don't live in council houses. Bob Crow has become rich by blackmailing the travelling public into paying his members more than they get themselves. He then creams off a salary that rail and tube passengers can only dream of. In any other culture, he would be called a robber baron and have a price on his head.
