I'm an almost lifelong vegetarian, but I still could imagine enjoying a bit of good quality meat. At the same time, I would find meat grown from real meat samples rather offputting. It does, however, seem to me to be a good way of providing protein-rich food with the same character of real meat, whilst avoiding the moral issues of animal exploitation.

it's probably the future eventually, id imagine it would rather expensive at the moment, but who knows?

Maybe the technology isn't ready yet, but at some point soon it will probably be necessary to switch over.

I wouldn't be against it and would try it but when he says "you get used to the taste" and "they will improve the taste" then I feel very dubious. I have tried various meat substitutes mostly soy based and as things stand, I prefer just to eat less meat and more real veg.

woof, it is not meat substitute, it is real meat. But it doesn't come from a slaughtered animal. Sounds a bit creepy, but it is not soya or anything, it is real meat tissue.
