Coworker Is Still Jealous I Work 4 Days A Week

On turning 50 I decided to mull over my life and decided to cut my working week to 4 days instead of 5. It's not easy financially, but I budget and really don't spend much. This was two years ago now and I'm in a temporary ongoing role. My boss couldn't care less what I do and says, "Do what you like". My coworker is constantly berating me with, "You're so lucky you do 4 days a week now" and come Thursday, she'll say, "It's your Friday today". This week I'm only doing 3 days as I was at the hospital with my mum for one day and when I returned to work she said jokingly, "I think you should stay on this Friday and make up your money". Well, she's not my boss nor has it anything to do with her what I do. I usually laugh it off/ignore her or I'll say, "There's nothing stopping you from cutting down" and then she'll reply, "I have rent to pay and I'm saving for a house deposit". Again, her life and mine have nothing to do with each other. We're only coworkers; she's permanent and me, an ongoing temp.
I wondered what else I can reply when I'm faced with these cutting/sly remarks about my working life.

Each time she says something reply with phrases like "you're getting boring now" "you're repeating yourself" "you said that last week". Eventually if she reacts then tell her that her comments are pissing you off.

I think that she is just making conversation. Find something you have in common and chat about that instead.

Been there, done that wolf63.
Each time she says something reply with phrases like "you're getting boring now" "you're repeating yourself" "you said that last week".
Eventually if she reacts then tell her that her comments are pissing you off.
Say "Yeah - I'll be thinking about you slaving away here while I'm enjoying my day off".

Nobody's last words were "I wish I'd spent more time in the office".
Just keep saying 'yes it's brilliant not working 5 days like you have to. I love it'.

She'll soon shut up.
'we all make our own choices in this life'
or next time she goes on about pay rent etc
'been there done that'
Ask her if her record is stuck ??
Tell her you only chose to work a 4-day week to annoy her. And, guess what? It's working:-)
