Well it's a cold icy morning here! And so much to do. I've got to have everything ready for when I drive down to Devon  in the morning  - everything I/we need washed & packed, house all sorted, cat food etc all bought & sorted, presents in car that in-laws want me to take down for them... and things that I'm remembering as I'm typing lol. I always try and do my usual which is start with the most important thing and work back from that...... and if I forget anything what's the worst that can happen!? (Well I guess it depends what I forget!! lol.

So are we all having mad busy days or lovely relaxing ones??

Good morning Smow. This sounds so familiar! We are going down to Cornwall daughter's house for Christmas and already other family members have started bestowing their presents on us for transportation. Two sisters in law and older daughter's father in law so far. This would all be fine if I was in any way prepared with our presents, so a major panic day for me I think.

I do hope your drive to Devon is reasonably uneventful.  Will you be doing the Stonehenge crawl?

I'm going away to see my son and grandson tomorrow, so today I'm getting everything ready for Husband and the Cat for the weekend. Food, drink etc.

Hi Impatiens! Where abouts in Cornwall? All of Devon/Cornwallmis so lovely tho isn't it. (And when we were down there a year ago, for New Year actually, we got caught in the Stonehenge crawl on the way back - I could not believe how long and how slow it was!! lol. If I'd had a cart with teas/coffees in I'd have made my way up and down the rows of traffic and made a fortune!

Hi clover.... yes I'm driving down to see my youngest tomorrow for a couple of days. I'm even managing to drag hubby! Well my youngest started out on AB years ago as TeenSmow  but I can't say that anymore...how funny that he's grow up and changed so much whilst I've been on here ! Is hubby not going with you Clover?

Hi Smow. Both daughters live on the North Cornwall coast near Newquay. They love it there. It can be quite cold though so I have a special Cornwall wardrobe consisting of many warm woolly jumpers!

Well, I guess I'm having a moderately exciting day. Just had a new fridge delivered, and the gas engineer is coming this afternoon to...hopefully...fix my boiler.

Meanwhile it's a bright, crisp and cold day. I'll take that...sun is welcome.

Good morning all. Bright and frosty here,but the sun is coming out. Hopefully that will defrost the car before I have to go to the dentist, and then the supermarket in a couple of hours time. 

Caught up with an old friend last night on the phone and it was lovely to hear all her positive news. I got my yesterdays wish to hear something cheerful! Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all. Frosty and foggy here though fog is slowly starting to lift. older son is visiting later, he has been a god send in recent months. 

Smow I do hope Mr Smow is doing some of the driving to take the pressure off you. Have a wonder trip with lots of cuddles with baby xxx
