hi there, I would love to apply to nurse in the usa, however i had a minor conviction for theft over 30 years ago. would this be an automatic bar on my application? thanks for your help. ellie jj

although this conviction will be spent now, after all this time,it still remains on your record,and will show up on any crb check,whether they think it is a matter to deny you a job,is entirely their decision,but i dont think it would mean it would stop you. but declare it on your form,because if they find it out and you havent told them,it will look bad for you.good luck.
