Best / worst New years eve
5 Answers
What's yours? My last thread reminded me of my best one. Having spent over a week in Cyprus on holiday , feeding stray cats and kittens and crying myself to sleep over the poor little starving things, I managed to get the equivalent of our RSPCA to come out and help me rescue 5 of the weakest / injured kittens. What a feeling ! This was Mr. P's worse one btw !! x x

My mum passed away and I still expect the phone to ring, to see her in town where we used to meet most days , to be able to confide in her , hug each other , and to know she was there.
It is nearly 2 years ago now but my heart still yearns to have her back .
You cant stop the emotions you are feeling , but take comfort that they will ebb as time heals .

Aw peppy,
knew you weren't yourself by your early posts, you should have said, .....
I would truly have tried looking for the doggies,... and not accused you of being on gear!
You can have my chocolate stash to cheer you up a little, I haven't really earned it as haven't gone for my ride.
How old are you peppy? What age was your dear old mam?
And one last question, when did it happen?
You are being so brave, but yes, you are running in all directions.
I lost my Dad back in May, and still struggle with guilt and anger towards my self (and I'm ashamed to say, towards him too).
I was given a bereavement book, and I am trying to work through the seven stages of bereavement.
We have to go through them all, some last longer than others.
I will have a look for it later today and post the title and the main topics for you.
My AB door is always open, feel free to drop in anytime.
Big hug,

Thankyou so much for that Miss R, I lost my Mum in January, we would have been celebrating her 70th birthday on the 3rd of April, and Mothers Day was awful too.
I seem to be taking one step forward and three steps back.
I've spent most of today crying, I would give anything for just 5 more minutes with her x x
