I'm not going to sit in judgement of these parents and i think its awful how people are doing just that! If only we were all perfect parents who made the right decision what to do in every situation, every time. If they appear calm then no doubt that is their own way of handling this situation and none of us see what happens behind closed doors when the cameras stop rolling. How anyone can think there is something strange about them is beyond me. None of us, thank God, can say how we would deal with it. Maybe they are just numb from weeks of pain! remember too that they have two other children to consider and just sit and think if you would sit wailing in front of them!
The simple fact is that they made a bad decision leaving those children alone that night but who on earth would expect a child to be abducted in this way. I cant condemn them for that decision, and i would imagine that is a fairly common practice by parents on their holidays (no, i personally wouldn't do it) but they have to live with what they did for the rest of their lives and that alone will be a living hell for them , let alone the public stringing them up for it.
Maybe we can start blaming parents every time a tragedy like this happens. If a child gets knocked over then where were the parents, if a child has an accident in the home, then , why weren't the parent s watching them! It could be never ending. We as parents are NOT perfect and so lets stop judging the Mcanns! They are suffering enough.
