Unable to type into application form

Hi. I Have a Windows Vista computer and in recent weeks I have been trying to type into Job applications forms that I have seen on the Internet. For some reason I cannot type onto the application forms.
Has anyone else had this problenm and have you got any ideas how I could rectify this. Thanks.

A .pdf file is really a non-editable photo, in simple terms - not a .doc file that can be edited with Word.
However, a .pdf editor does allow you to write on them.
Very often the prospective employer expects you to print the blank form and fill it in with pen and ink.

Even if you have a pdf editor it is unlikely that the forms will have editable flelds (the spaces where you want to answer), because most people do not have the paid for version of acrobat and so there would be little point in making it 'interactive'.
The person who sent you the form (or from where you downloaded it) probably wants you to print it and fill it in by hand.
If the form is 'interactive' it will have a send button (probably at the end). If no send button exists, then the form is designed for printing and filling in on paper.
