Jobs for 14 year old girls

Hello, i am fourteen years old and am currently looking for a small job. I have taken up two paper rounds and have done a bit of babysitting, but they prove to be a bit boring and don't pay that much. I was not sure what types of places would hire a 14 year old girl to work near to where i live in England. As it is the summer holiday i have spare time to earn a bit of money. When term starts a long term job on the weekends (i.e - a saturday job) or a job i could do after school during the week is a possibility. If anyone has any suggestions i would be very grateful.

Good on you fluffy for wanting to earn a bit of money.

When I was 14, I got a job waitressing. I worked most Saturdays and most days during the week when I was holiday. I was there for about 5 years (until I left college and got a proper job).

I know my friend who runs a health food shop really values her Saturday girls. The customers love them and they provide lots of cover in the holidays, so perhaps try smaller shops to see if they can give you anything.

Do your parents know anyone who could offer you some part time work?
