ive got a bus license but no company employs me

why cant i find a job with a bus company ive had a pcv license for the past 6 years every company ive applied for has said no could it be that i am honest on the application regarding my criminal record and the fact that ivee been sacked from a buss company before i do not ubderstand do i have to lie ive applied 3 to 4 times for the same companies still nothing

In this current climate of recession, I imagine that you will find it difficult to get work with a bus company. The fact that you have got a criminal record and that you have been previous;y fired from a bus company will make employers reluctant to employ you. This is especially true at the moment as there are usually many people applying for a single job and their work history will look better than yours. Do not start lying on your application though as you will only get discovered and then fired from another bus company.

Bagpuss is correct, I work on London Buses and everyone job history is checked. CRB are the new check on people appying for work to see if they have a record. My advice would be to try and work on private school buese, the money and hours are lousy and then apply saying that you ready to step up again.

Youl be crb checked working on a school bus as well , wages in manchester driving a school minibus are fairly good
