Advice please
I worked abroad for two years as an English teacher. I came back and did a Master's in the subject but can't a job. I've applied to so many jobs. All doors have shut because employers want FE or HE experience or IELTS experience. Your Master's to them is worthless. I've even been turned down for an entry level job with the reply that they received so many more applications than expected. I've really tried to exhaust every avenue, even contacting someone who used to be in the industry but they were unable to help. I've reached breaking point because sitting in my parents' home for almost four months has pushed me to the edge.
Can anyone give me any advice? Has anyone else been in this situation? Thank you!

Sometimes starting to look for something else will give you a purpose and perhaps make you less stressed and the teaching job will turn up.
However, you should start looking at transferable skills - somebody else was asking a similar question and I suggested they should look at http://careerplanning...a/trans_skills_ex.htm There are other sites as well,
In addition, there is an excellent book "What colour is your parachute" see http://www.jobhuntersbible.com/ This is the website - you can get a UK version of the book via amazon - it will give you loads of suggestions as to what to do.
I really feel for you at a difficult time, so Good Luck!
