Ohkay so Ive been looking for a job, because I need to save up money for college, track&feild, and a new car. So I need a reliable job. I dont want to do online surveys, and Im trying to stay away from the fast food industry. Any sugestions are very helpful.
P.S: please no grass cutting, dog walking, or yard work ideas, I do that already :)
yes im american:
and when i say yard work, i mean like pulling weeds, hedge trimming, etc.
and what type of offices should i look into, like doctor offices?
oh and this is STEFANI739
Are you in the States, stefan (I think you may be, we call yard work, gardening over here in the UK). Not sure what's available for someone your age in the US.
sorry stefani, misread your name. Over here you would not be likely to get work in doctors' surgeries, the staff there tend to have office experience (although they do take on some school leavers in junior duties). How about you ask the personnel department of any big companies near you if they have summer vacancies for juniors?
if you are inexperienced you have to the jobs that don't need much training. Most people can do these jobs so there is a lot of competion which reduces wages. Go for something that you are or may be good at. Be prepared do do something you don't like very much. That is why it is called work and why they pay you. If it was fun you would do it for nothing and stay poor.
