What sort of hourly rates do doormen get?

i think it varies depending on region and type of place u wrk in. I work in a bar in Newcastle and the doorman there get about �10-�15 an hour.

I believe that �10-15 is probably about average nationwide. I'm told that if you work on the door of a busy restaurant (acting as more of a meeter/greeter) you get slightly less. Apparently doormen working in army towns like Colchester and Exeter can get up to �25 an hour, I assume for obvious reasons. I'd be interested to know if anyone knows any different.
