How many jobs have you had ?
33 Answers
I was thinking about how many jobs Ive had since I left school in 1967. I think Ive had 10 full time jobs and about 3 part time jobs. At one time I had 5 part time jobs (cleaning) on the go at once to make up a reasonable working week. Ive only been unemployed for 3 months in the whole of my working career. Ive was on maternity leave for about 6 months. I think Ive been very lucky. How about you ?

started off as a junior receptionist and worked my way up to audio typist for a chartered accountants, then onto an invoice clerk for a haulage firm and then Insurance Clerk for Royal Insurance and a local Insurance Broker. Then Medical records clerk at local hospital. Worked in the NHS jobs 3 times now. I got into catering when I went back after my son was born. I went to college part time to get my 3 GNVQs. Then started out as a cook at a NALGO convalescent Home and various part time cooking jobs at local pubs etc, now at the local hospital. Hope this will be my last job as I am due to retire in Feb 1914. seems miles away. I think Ive certainly done my bit. Staring work at 15 and finishing at 62
