Shropshire: Missing elderly Collie X

Hi everyone, not posted for a while so I hope this finds you all well.
I am sure it may have been mentioned before, but I spotted this on Doglost tonight, and it broke my heart. 19-year-old Collie X, deaf and blind, missing since December-big search to take place this Sunday.

If you can help, please do-this boy needs to be at home, or his owner needs some closure at least.

Oh that's so sad. Poor old boy. I'm too far away to help I'm afraid. Please keep us posted if you hear any news. Hope they have some good news on Sunday.

Very sad, poor old dog!.............hope he's found safe!..................if not, then hope they at least can have closure!..............so sad for them!

I wouldn't have thought that he could have wandered far. My last dog was senile at the end and used to get very confused - his hearing and vision were impaired too.

Perhaps there will be no happy ending - but to know what happened may help the family.

Thanks Jules. Everyone-thank you. I figure at his age, in his condition, over winter, he probably hasn't come to any good, but at least if they found his body they'd know xx

So sorry to hear. I have a 14 year old lassie collie who is also deaf and has bad eye sight. I love him to bits and would be devastated if he went missing but he is never far from my side so I feel very sorry for the owners of this poor dog. Hope you find him. from an Essex dog lover.
