My partner works for meter u on a self employed basis and the company for the second time in less than a year have just announced that the pay per meter is being reduced again, can anyone tell me if this is legal please, the amount he has to pay out in petrol is probably close to what he earns anyway and this could mean working at a loss, last week alone he covered 650 miles, (we live in a very rural area), not too sure what to do

He's self employed but its a franchise, i don't know if that makes a difference or not, i just thought that a cut in pay had to be agreed by both parties
