Work Experience

Hi,
I'm a sixth form student looking for work experience at a publishing house in the yorkshire area. I'm studying english language, literature and art and i have 10+ A - C GCSE's. (i know you all seem to ask for someone's qualifications in these kind of questions).
Ok, i want to get into publishing as a book editor, so i want to gain some work experience, probably where i work there for a fortnight or where i shadow an editor for a couple days a week, which would be preferable. Does anyone know of any good places? I live in Sheffield, just to give you an idea, i'm willing to travel by train.
I've searched myself, but the majority of places are either in London, or are for 18 + years, which works against me since i'm 17.
I would be really grateful if anyone knew of any places. Otherwise, i'll keep up the search,

Ophelia, doesn't your school help with work placements?

Don't only think about only book publishing for your placement, general printing and publishing experience would be just as useful, IMO. I hope this helps.
