Can anyone point me in the right direction - I have an interview coming up and have to do it in the style of a presentation, does anyone know of a site with Power point template or such like?

if you have powerpoint, why don't you use the presentation wizard? its really easy

Just a couple of tips:

  • Make sure the size of the text is big enough to read.  It may look fine in Powerpoint, but it may be too small when on the projector.
  • Limit your time to 1 minute maximum per slide.
  • Don't use too many words when a picture/graph/illustration will do.
  • Don't write everything you want to say on the slides - otherwise you will just be reading the slides aloud.  Try to only put a few things down in a bullet list and talk around them.
  • You may want to consider giving handouts of the slideshow (PowerPoint Wizard will show you how).

Good luck!
