What shold I wear for my job interview?
7 Answers
It's the first interview I've had for ages (I've been on benefits for a while, but I'm not a scrounger - I worked from being 16 years old, did 17 years at one job). I've put quite a bit of weight on, so my normal 'job interview' clothes won't fit.
The job is as a part-time assistant in a supermarket - what should I wear? I have some casual black trousers, but they have quite a few combat-style pockets - are they suitable? I'd probably wear a plain white t shirt with a white shirt with them.
Would this be ok? The supermarket have a uniform. I want to look like I do want the job, but I'm skint so can't afford to buy new clothes.
TIA

Try to engage with all panel members. If there's anything you don't understand, ask to have it repeated. Have you prepared some questions for the end of the interview - for example, promotion/ full-time prospects?
