I'm 16 and have just started an apprenticeship in an office. It's a really young company and my boss who is the owner is 21. She is married and is six months pregnant, her husband is 36 but doesn't look it and I've developed such a huge crush on him. What can I do to stop this? I don't want to lose my job.

Go for it - tell him how you feel, he's probably not getting any from the missus anyway so he'll probably jump at the chance. No danger of losing your job, no-one's ever gonna find out.....
I was about to go to bed but think I'll sit up a little longer just to see the responses to this, Should be quite entertaining.
Oh don't worry about the prospect of breaking them up then, just your job! you're 16, get over it!
Lol Mike, funny how some posts just draw you in, don't they?
You are very young to have a crush on a married man more than twice your age. If you were 6 months pregnant, how do you think you would feel if your husband went off with a teenager. You'd be devastated, as she would be.
Find somebody nearer your own age. You'll soon forget this man!
You didn't say if you are male or female. Not that it matters I suppose, its a free world.
well it was last week in tottenham.....
Yes but Sir Alec he doesn't look his age, so that makes it alright, no-one would think anything of it if they saw them together and he probably doesn't feel his age either.
OK, who else has a dog avatar?
lankeela, so his wife has no feelings then? She WILL find out eventually.
Bloody hell talk about harsh- she was asking advice about how NOT to do something wrong.
Just try your best not to spend time thinking about him and have as little to do with him as physically possible. Keep yourself busy and have a great time being 16 and going out enjoying yourself, because if you try to act on your feelings then 99% of the time it'll end badly, you'll be unemployed and you might potentially split them up or best case scenario look daft.
all sounds very selfish to me - you"re only 16 - so I"ll "let it slide"
truly, your life would be much easier with someone your own age
Forget the married guy, even if he "comes onto" you,it will be
because he wants to "use"you, and it is sure to end in tears.
Just accept you find him attractive, but equally not for you, move on and enjoy life.
Agree with Nox and Mamy. You are allowed to find people attractive. Just don't act on it...
Roxxii - just accept that having a crush is normal for your age. I look back and cringe when I recall my teens.

Enjoy your new job.
"for your age"
I have a crush on all the female news announcers, and all the weather girls, and loads more. Hope I never grow out of it.
Sir Alex. I thing Lankeela was being tongue in cheek with her reply..........................

To Roxxii. As others have said, don't let your feelings show. It's the only thing you can do. Don't let it become an obsession. We have all had teenage crushes and they are overpowering at the time - but they die quickly!!
if something did happen, you certainly would lose your job in the long run, think about his wife and not yourself, how would you feel -just accept that crushes are normal at your age and find someone who is your own age and available.
Don't even go there with it, you're far too young to be thinking about a married man who is about to become a father. Go out and spend time with people of your own age, forget about him and focus on being 16 and having a wonderful opportunity to have such a good job at such a young age. You're very lucky.
Put a chastity belt on.
