If Tuesday is your normal payment day then I'm sure you will still get it then.
. . . but if you normally get your money on Mondays it should be in your account by this Friday at the latest.

Yeh thanks all. Just found out that I will be getting it on this Fri.
Question Author
How much would a 3 day worth of JSA be ?
about thirty quid ?
Question Author
would that include a bank holiday pay?
The basic JSA is about 64 quid a week. I don't think they give any extra for bank holidays.
Question Author
I mean the £30 would include the Bank holiday ?
TYhe money you get will include all days until you next sigh on.
If you sign on today and normally get your money on monday you will get it tomorrow. The bank holiday doesn't effect anything apart from you getting paid earlier.

ok thanks. Cos actually I have signed off as I will be working from 1 Sep onwards. so was just calculating how much I would be getting from now till 31 Aug.

My only dilemma is that I will not be getting money until end of sep when i get my first pay. I am trying to look into this.
I'd e interested to know whether you can claim anything for the first month of work on the basis that you won't be paid for a month. I can see a case for a loan but I can't see any case forgetting an extra month's JSA, but let us know how you get on
Question Author
Well no I can't claim further as my JSA closes on 31 aug. So I am only left with the loan option despite the job centre advisor being negative about the idea.
