looking for catchy poster title for sexual health
19 Answers
Hi all,
I'm in my first year at Uni studying nursing. I know i have the potential to be a good nurse and i really want to be, but the academic side is tripping me up slightly. I have to do a poster, presentation and essay on sexual health and i really don't know where to begin. Does anyone know of any good sources that may help me? I'm particularly interested in a catchy sentence or phrase that would grab attention on a sexual health poster. No jokes please, i'm stressing myself out over it, thanks in advance :)

sorry that is probably a joke!
I think for catchy you just want something that gets people's attention...it doesn't have to imply sexual health in the heading...but maybe a potential date or encounter with someone...like picture of man and woman with slogan
'Can i have your number?' then you could list statistics about STDS or number of partners someone has had...

Maybe use a series of acronyms or text speak on the poster. Maybe have pairs of young people with conversations in speech bubbles or pictures of phones with text messages on.
Something like:
STD? CBA!
STD? OMG!
STD4U?
I8STD
You get the idea. I'm rubbish at this sort of thing but it may help you think of something

When my daughter, now a consultant nurse did that, she chose "Better Safe Than Sorry" which is a bit tame now. Nurses may be expected to do presentations when seeking promotion among other things and I suspect your tutor will be more concerned yhat you can argue a point.
