writing a CV
4 Answers
All this talk of leaving jobs has finally spurred me on. As I have had the same job for the past 3 years I havn't done my CV since way before then (I didn't need one for this job). As well as not really knowing how to do an impressive CV my work history wasn't great before I started this job. So how do I make that look good? I had one job for about 3 months (I left as I hated it) and one intermitantly for about 2 years while i was at college (I didn't finish the course so even that won't look good). Help on a decent CV would be good anyone, please!!

I am a law graduate, and additionally have amasters in international criminal law - Icompleted these degrees between the ages of 24 and 30. However, my previous employment was within the civil engineering indusrty, and was mostly manually based - as such, I used to say that I ran my own small business in that field - something that is very difficult to check up on, and would have to be worded correctly so as not to get yourself into trouble or lie too much.
