I'm thinking for being a crime scene investigator like you see on the TV. I want to know what A-Levels you would have to take to be able to get the job?
There is very little demand in the UK for crime scene technicians, it is also nothing like you see on the TV.
You would need maths, english and sciences to get on any course.
I think you may be disappointed for a more fundamental reason.
When I last looked the number of people studying Forensic Science at university exceeded the total number of posts in that field in the UK by a factor of about twenty to one. (Bear in mind this comparison looked at the number of posts, not the number of vacancies).
It was about five years ago, but I doubt that the numbers have changed that significantly since then.
i am currently doing a csi course at uni at degree level, i would recomend for you to do at least one science at A-level, its not manditory however, helps you understand the things they teach you on a deeper level which may also help you for employability. i did chemistry, biology, psychology and dance (dance you dont need lol) also psychology is good as one of my modules was to do with criminal minds and criminological aspects of it.
also, i think you should persuit in forensic sceince if you love it because its so broad and open, alot of people think your wasting your time but its worth it if you want tot do it,
