Oops -- just re read your post.Those figures are based on GROSS pay not NETT..
If it's a NET figure surely you just divide by 12 as deduction have already been made?

Your terms are confusing Tinks.

If it is Net Wage of £21,200.....it has already been reduced by tax & NI; simply divide by 12.

If is is Gross Wage of £21,200.... then as answers given above^^
And if it's nursing, remember you may want to allow for pension deductions
If you start now you may not have to pay any tax before April.
After April, on top of pension, NI and pension, you need to allow for student loan repayments too
