If a runner is the most junior position in a production company, what is the most junior position in the different departments of a record company?

Only an educated guess I''m afraid:  A 'gofer' i.e. one who goes for things.  It's a US (theatrical?) term for a junior who does the odd jobs, goes out on errands.

I know with radio stations it's basically teaboy/girl, an unpaid "work experience" type of job, perhaps it's the same with record companies?
