Are there any web sites where you put in your qualifications and they come up with job suggestions for you? Thanks for any help.

The following aren't exactly what you've asked for, but they might help:

The UK's official university career's website suggests options according to your degree:

The official adult career's website also offers help:

Cheers for that, don't want to go back into teaching but looking for something to do come September (maybe).
What would you like to do if you could do anything on earth Sherr?
Question Author
Hi Maidup, I don't have a particular desire to do anything really (I feel like I have had my career and did quite well in it (in terms of promotion, not in being good at it)). Thing 1 and thing 2 are off to school in September and whilst himself doesn't expect me to go to work I feel I should at least look at my options (mainly because I don't know what I am going to do all day long on my own). I expect within a couple of weeks of term starting I won't be feeling so anxious about the long days (and to be honest, my list of criteria for any sort of unemployment makes me virtually unemployable!). Might look at some business I can do from home, with hours to suit the kids.
Well, look for something fun and fulfilling and stay well clear of the rat race. Maybe freelancing will be more suitable too.
Question Author
Thanks Maidup, might look into something to do with producing teaching materials (if I am not too rusty), did have some stuff published years ago and at the time it was good money for little effort (well, I think it was good money - seem to remember it was about £50 a page).
mmmm sounds OK but a little isolating. Could you do talks and tours of somewhere for either school groups or tourists? Just thinking of ideas.
Question Author
I couldn't talk to a group of grown-ups (I would be sick with nerves for weeks). I would still see people at the school (which is about the only time I see people at the moment). I could also still go to the playgroup that I attend if it is still running (there are five of us who go at present and there are only four children - two of which are mine!).
Watch out for scamming sites sherr, that promise thousands each week for doing nothing. Too good to be true probably is.
Question Author
Thanks for the advice Chrissa but I am naturally untrusting (based on events of recent years).
