Job offer, but just started at another company

Hello!

In order to make ends meet, I took a job with a small company. The job is awful, but it is a paycheck.

However, another much larger and better company that I interviewed for at the same time finally got around to me and just made an offer - which I have accepted.

I have been at the new job for about 1 month. Question is - should I even mention it to the new employer? I should say that the offer is contingent upon successful reference and credit check (it is in the banking industry). Also - I have just relocated here from another EU country.

Just be honest with both companies right away. Serve your FULL notice and do a good job whilst you are there - without exploiting them. Nobody will mind.
