My current job involves working for the County Council in a variety of pointless tasks. It bores me silly which is partly why I spend so much time on the internet - here in particular.
The silver lining is that this is a temp job taken while I had assessments security checks etc for another job. I have now got that job and so in 2 weeks time I expect my answer would be that I love my job. It is one of those really annoying ones where for security reasons you can't tell people what you do...
I do structural engineering for boats. I haven't been doing it for that long so I lack a bit of confidence in what I do, but I still think I might be doing a good job.
I didn't like it to start, mainly because of a lack of experience that was directly applicable to my job (I have quite a bit of almost relevant experience!) but as I progress and learn, I like it more.

I'm a psychologist and I work with people aged about 2yrs to 19 years. I love it. I have been a teacher (primary and secondary and special) before, had a job in M&S and worked in Law (barrister experience for a couple of years but not as a qualified Barrister!). The job I have now is my favourite by far and I doubt I'll be changing again. Every day is different I meet loads of great people, love work with children, learn loads, get to do training and travel all over the UK my employer also pays for my to study a doctorate andI get to meet people from all over theworld and find out about how they do things differently!
I have a special interest in ASD (autism/aspergers)

I'm a software developer. Once the nerds of the world, they're making funky movies about us now! I enjoy it. Different problems everyday and the sense of achievment I get from taming these machines is what keeps me interested. Been programming since I was 9 years old back in 1983. I think that makes me an uber-geek unlike these pretenders who have jumped on the band wagon.
The same as OBonio, a software developer. I spend all day writing computer programs and then come home and do it some more. Only problem is finding a job which keeps your interested, I suppose it's a bit like working in a sweet shop, there's so many cool things in IT but during the day I have do pretty boring stuff by comparison.
