Three years ago i got deferred from the RAF for dermititis. I am now eligable to apply although i have just read the letter at the time and it says i have to be CLEAR of it. I have been clear of it but do you think i was supposed to go to the doctor to get this confirmed after my prescription expired?
Thanks

well if you don't want to ask the RAF if you need doc's confirmation, why don't you just go to the doc and get it?
I think they have a set deferral period of time (you would have to check how long this is, it could be 12 months) from the time the treatment stops, which would have to be confirmed by your GP.
Surely there must be some criteria, some form to fill in, which will explain this to you?
if you aren't sure whether your medical history may affect whether you can join the RAF, please ask your AFCO. However, bear in mind that Armed Forces Careers Advisers and their office staff are not medically qualified and that all final decisions regarding medical suitability for entry are made by the RAF’s medical staff.
