Just wanting a little advice!!!

Over the past year and a half i've had a few temping jobs in the finance sector (Bank's/ Financial services) but was always on the look out for perm! In january I was offered a perm job in a branch (high street bank) so i've been working there for 6 months and was happy at first but now i hate it because of the people ( 2 girls i work with in particular who are the only people of my age group) its a really small place and theres only 5 of us in total! Which is a real pain - i've tried talking to my manager but she's full of empty promises!

Basically I feel im secluded from everyone - and i'm never asked by either of the 2 girls to go 4 a drink after work go on lunch with them etc, so im a tad left out!

I'l get to the point................

I Have a job interview tomorrow at a financial services (which is not a high street bank) and im dreading when they say - 'Why are you looking to leave your current job to work here?'

If anyone could help me....................

Thanks

u feel u have reached as far as u can with that company and although it would be a regret to leave it u feel that this new company would offer greater experiences and more opportunities to progress my career which u want to do

Not sure that you want to admit going as far as you can in just 6 months.  Try and make it positive though.  Maybe something like 'there is limited scope for development, and that whilst I am happy working independently, the current position does not support a team work approach.

Look on the company website, as most companies will have some standard nonsense about the great environment their teams work in.  Give it as an example of the sort of place you would like to work.

Depends a little what the role will be, but most people are looking for a team worker who can be independent when necessary.

I interviewed someone once and they said they wanted to leave as the current employer expected them to work hard.  Didn't get the job!
