Interview tips

Whenever I go to an interview I always seem to get nervous, my palms start to sweat and I begin to have a hard time answering questions and usually the interviewer can tell there's something wrong or that I'm nervous . I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions I just want to look like a confident person when I'm being interviewed.

Believe me, it can be more embarrassing for the panel than for the candidate, and the panel should try to calm the interviewee's nerves by offering a very simple or wide-open question. If they don't sympathise, or help ( after all, they think you might be the person they want, or they wouldn't have short-listed you ) then you probably don't want to work with them anyway
I have this thing where I'm trying not to shake so much that my head does this weird wobble so the first thing I say is, I'm sorry, I'm so nervous, I'm trying to keep my head still, then giggle.
Most future employers see nervousness as a sign that the prospective employee cares about getting the job, which can only be a good thing.
Good luck.

My GP prescribed me Propranolol for situations like interviews and even my driving test. It worked brilliantly. However, if you don't want to go down that route, I always write down my questions for the interviewer. Also, my Dad gave me 3 questions that you should always ask:
1. What is the hardest part of the job?
2. How do you foresee the job in 3 years time?
3. Why did the last person leave?
When armed with these questions i always felt a lot more prepared.
All the best and let us know how you get on!!
