Interview I only have my Birth Certificate

I've got an interview with Marks and Spencer but I only have my Birth Certifcate as a form of I.D. I dont have any proof of address has I've only just moved into a new househare and I know my N.I number off by heart. Do you think this will be okay or will I need more.

well you need proof of your right to work in the uk and proof of your national insurance number, can you get those together? your birth certificate is ok for the first, have you a previous wage slip or ~JSA letter?

You'll need more I'm sure- passport or driving licence with picture to prove you are the person named on the birth cert, plus some proof of your address- recent bank statement, utility bill, tax /DWP letter etc

Cant you quickly post something to yourself to at least prove the address is yours?

when i do a new starter at work we usually need a passport or driving licence but we also accept birth certificates if they match the person's info on the national insurance number proof.

I've got a copy of the signed contract for when I moved in.

They may ask to see something with a photo and your name next to it, i.e Driving license and/or passport
